SEATING:

This venue has limited seating. Advanced and regular tickets do not guarantee seating. Only those that purchase VIP admission tickets are guaranteed seating.

Please note, VIP seating is limited to availabilty (about 45 VIP seats total available). VIP Seating represents the first 3 to 5 front row of tables. VIPs must be present before the start of the Show or soon thereafter in order to be seated at reserved table. If VIP does is not present after 10:30 PM, your VIP seats may be used (no refund).

VIPs can also call (305-298-2380) one day before the Show and reserve the table for a specific time. Staff/Promoters will do everything possible to accomodate VIPs that give at least 24 noticed of arrival time.

Big 1940s Havana Cuban Cabaret Show RUMBACOPA to Debut at Calle Ocho Miami

Take a trip back in time 70 years and experience what it was like to be inside an authentic 1940s Cuban cabaret nightclub at RUMBACOPA, a new theatrical show production featuring the RITMO!® Caliente Del Caribe orchestra and dancers, fabulous conga showgirls, bringing to life the 'Old Havana Nights' where the Mambo, Bolero, Rumba and Cha-Cha-cha were King.

Once upon a time in old Havana; before the time of the famed Club Tropicana; there was the hottest little cabaret nightclub in all of Cuba where the rhythm never stopped. A spectacular showplace featuring amazing variety entertainment, dancers, drummers and singers; a regular nightspot to famous Hollywood celebrities.

Dressed in traditional Cuban rumbero costumes, RUMBACOPA Cuban cabaret Show offers a glimpse of the early 1930's & 40's when Don Azpiazù and his Havana Casino Orchestra started the rumba craze and went on to introduce the best known of all Cuban tunes in the United States: 'El Manicero' (The Peanut Vendor). Entertainer Desi Arnaz and his conga took Broadway by storm. Brazilian vocalist Carmen Miranda and Latin composer Xavier Cugat were featured performers in many American films; Machito's Afro-Cubans.

RUMBACOPA was created by bandleader Bobby Ramirez. Born in Santa Clara, Cuba, Ramirez came to the United States of America at age 7 with just the clothes he was wearing and stayed for two weeks at Freedom Tower.

He grew up in a poor neighborhood of Hialeah. At age 14, he fell in love with music and soon realized that performing was his passion. Since then, Bobby's music career has blossomed as part of the multi-cultural fabric of Miami; also helping to define the Florida Jazz sound.

In 1995, Bobby Ramirez founded the RITMO!® entertainment Brand which gave birth to authentic Latin tropical themed shows from the Caribbean, Central and South America.

Apart from being an accomplished musician, composer, arranger and bandleader, Mr. Ramirez is a pioneer in the creation, development and production of many innovative interactive concepts that have taken Latin entertainment to a new level of multi-sensory experience as part of special events--including RITMO!PALOOZA®--instantly engaging every individual from its audience in a personal way.

While Ramirez keeps a busy schedule of performances, he has donated his time and talent to many local South Florida charities through the Bobby Ramirez Foundation.

The Bobby Ramirez Foundation is dedicated to children's charities, helping the homeless, providing music performances, workshops, as well as donating instruments, and music arrangements to underserved schools.

In 2009, Mr. Ramirez founded a non-profit educational cultural arts museum initiative called JAZZONIAN and Young Jazz Leaders initiative which established a scholarship fund for gifted students of the Jazz artform. He is also Executive Director of the South Florida Jazz Summit.
